Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

Review of the site information for the FTP and the statement is "there should be no file size restrictions".
I do see a Pydio update (version 6) for download but i dont know if that will break anything or not.  Plus there is no Linux installer.

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

Ok i wasnt able to resolve the file size issue, but, good news.

With my super super limited skills, i managed to get the latest version of the FTP software working.  Now, the issue:  I am unable to tie it in with the BGPanel properly.  Is that really bad news?  No, i just dont know how it was done originally.  I simply downloaded the new stuff, dropped it in the folder, overwrite = true ... setup a few things. ...

Now, again, it doesnt pull from my SQL and it doesnt link to the proper permissions of the panel account i use it from ...

i hope that war knows how to update.  I really spent about 30 min total and got it fully installed and working, just, not tied to the panel (launched from panel, SQL from panel, but, thats all).

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

So updating with the last version of Pydio is far more complex than simply overwriting files. You have to implement and edit specific files to achieve it...

So go back to the last git version (using the link given) with a fresh install.

In order to upload large file size, (more than 10 MB in fact) you have to update your PHP.ini file with the following settings : (allow 512MB)

; Maximum size of POST data that PHP will accept.
; http://php.net/post-max-size
post_max_size = 512M

; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files.
; http://php.net/upload-max-filesize
upload_max_filesize = 512M

Restart apache2 and test ;-)

Yeah the new version is pretty crazy.  I got some stuff working, but, not the key elements.  I will be tossing in the git version back in there and doing to update you provided to my php.ini

Warhawk, its great you are back man, im glad this project has someone like you leading it.

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

lol wiz your awesome ....

he was making reference to me because i jacked up my FTP sir ...
if you have it working, go to:  /etc/php5/apache2/
open php.ini
search for:  post_max_size
set to whatever you want, i did 999M (just under 1GB)
search for: upload_max_filesize
set to whatever you want, i did 999M (just under 1GB again)
save, close, test, win, profit!

oh and i did max uploads 9999 because i have some friends using the server for hosting new doom ... yup, new doom.  I love living 5 miles from Id Software and having friends in the business.

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

setting the max size didnt work.  I talked to some people at work yesterday and they said the info provided was correct.
i set to 1G, 999M, 500M, 20M and nothing over 2M will send.

edit:  its probably my .htaccess causing the issues, since, it takes priority over anything else.  ugh.  i have to wait until i get home from work to check.
