Re: Pydio - Wrappers and Drivers

Hi,

Yeah I have written the drivers for Pydio ;-). Took me 3 months to understand how Pydio works and deals with PHP streams...

Useful links :

https://github.com/warhawk3407/StreamWrappers_PHPSecLib

https://github.com/pydio/pydio-core/tre … s.sftp_psl

So, to make it simple, the wrapper is a stream handler. Your stream is accessible via a protocol name that you can define using class that you have to implement. See:
http://php.net/manual/en/ref.stream.php

The driver is specific to Pydio. It implements and declares in Pydio the stream wrapper and tells to Pydio core how to "access/manage/understand" it. See: https://pyd.io/plugins/access/sftp_psl/

@layers :
X -> GUI
[...]
3 -> Pydio core
2 -> Pydio access.driver
1 -> StreamWrapper

About Pydio drivers, you should ask your questions directly on their forums wink

Re: Pydio - Wrappers and Drivers

Thanks for the quick reply and good explanation. But can you please explain by taking an example, like how does pydio react when a client clicks "Rename".

Thankyou smile
