Great panel - amazing actually ......

But the development is totally dead on this.

With that said, it does work tho.  The panel is working, but, with new games coming out, you will end up doing all the development yourself.

I had read in a post that development was started back up, like a month or more ago, but, seems the same 3 or 4 ppl are posting to the threads so it seems a little ghost town in here.

Great panel, dead working project.
or you can have a crappy panel, developed, barely functioning.  lol

Dead enough to where i sent a PM stating i would pay (and how much) for this to be working (version 2) ... not even read yet.  That was like 3 months ago.

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

I have a development team working on ripping me a "home page" with all the required data that can be public:

total players, server status, games available, etc  .....

once i find someone whos able to rip it, i will post it up for everyone to share out the code.  Im paying the team (not this BG Team) to do it, so, ummm ..... happy birthday?  haha ... at least its a working dead project tho, right?!

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

im greatful for it, atleast it looks nice, not like OGP and XGP and all those ugly ass shit panels..

looks good, but alot of things don't work on initial install. like the webftp on 0.47, still can't figure that shit out.
then i downloaded the standalone ftp thing that warhawk uploaded. and that is garbage.

even tho they said 0.47 has the ajaxftp built in and uses the client/group system with the ssh key( blah blah blah) so no FTP programs need to be installed.
what a load of crap, sent them so many msg's twitter, and pvt. nothing. email to( long time ago).

so. i've just been patiently waiting for someone to figure it out.
i doubt v2.0 will even be released. if they actually got it to work. i would support this project full force, money and resources.

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

Agreed - I sent a PM about donating minimum $1K USD for 2.0 release.  Was told "oh we started back up a couple days ago" yet, forums are always lacking.  My PM still sits unread lol.

And this isn't to bash the development on this or anything, i mean, its Linux and opensource, so, the community can pick it up at any time ...

Only issues I had with 47 was 403 on the FTP.  Seems to be working, i just never set it up lol.  I should probably do that at some point ... hmmmm ....

Everything seems to be ok with v.47, but, i pre-install all my stuff and manually update it, so, i wouldn't really know if there WERE any issues.

......anyways ........
i think as a community, we can post fixes and see what we can do to keep this alive, sort of, and, well, at least working to the best of our ability.

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

Hello there,

Ok so I see a lot of questions here and no answers.

I will write a blog post tomorrow, explaining my lack of time and investment in the project.

One thing is sure for now, the project is NOT DEFINITELY DEAD, simply paused.

So don't panic, I will come back very soon. Some of my friends shook me to come back and work on this project ]:D

Regards

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

Also, whats your issues with the FTP part?  Im using 47 i think, the one with the ajax ftp.  I get "Error 403:  Access Denied" because of permissions.  Otherwise, i think its working as intended.  Maybe.  I havent used it lol other then clicking on "FTP"

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

Hello guys,

So the problem comes from a bad API Key exchange between the two apps.

So first get your API Key, (Configuration -> API Key)

Then, go to /ajxp/data/plugins/boot.conf/bootstrap.json

https://github.com/warhawk3407/bgpanel/ … p.json#L18

Line 18 : instead of "void", past your API Key.

https://github.com/warhawk3407/bgpanel/ … p.json#L18

Now delete ajaxplorer cache (delete ajxp/data/cache/plugins_*.ser).

Refresh your browser with CTRL+F5.

Then start a WebFTP session wink

It should be ok. Ensure you have the very very last version : https://github.com/warhawk3407/bgpanel/ … op-047.zip

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

Hi,

Did you delete ajaxplorer cache (all files : ajxp/data/cache/plugins_*.ser). ?

Logout from bgpanel, login once again.

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

Have you downloaded the last version from the github link : https://github.com/warhawk3407/bgpanel/ … op-047.zip ?

Well could you send me your panel URL, an Admin access to it and if possible a read/write access to panel files ? (FTP/SFTP) ? (create a temporary account)

(Send it via email, no pm)

I will investigate myself...

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

Ok thank you smile

Update with git files, watch out configuration files (do not overwrite them). Otherwise, maybe try a clean install.

Re: Great panel - amazing actually ......

I can't give you a proper help with TS3, since I prefer to invest time in the next version than working on the current release (0.47+)...

But if you have any explicit questions, you are welcome smile

@Angrytoilet : so it is working now ? smile
@wizYq: interesting error... 500... the less explicit one in addition.... Try git files, with a clean install. Verify file perms... Are you using apache2 or nginx ?
